Chris Jericho is the new WCW Champion after beating The Rock at "No Mercy". Stephanie's interference backfired as Y2J was able to take advantage of a steel chair brought into the ring by her. Jericho applied a full-nelson and slammed The Rock's face into the chair to score the 1-2-3!

Jericho is now a double champion! The Rock and Chris Jericho become the WWF Tag Team Champions after The Rock nailed the Rockbottom on Deavon Dudley to score the pinfall! This is the second time Jericho has been one part of the tag champions.
